The Bluebell Steam railway is one the best of its kind in Britain. Formerly part of the London to Brighton line and victim of the ‘Beeching Axe’ cuts (ironically Lord Beeching lived in this area). A memorial garden with stones and Bluebell images is located behind the station at Horstead Keynes in a beautiful spot overlooking the station.
